Earn2Trade is a US prop firm founded in 2016. It offers two programmes, each with a different way to grow your account:
- Gauntlet Mini
- Trader Career Path
1) Drawdown and activation fees
Both programmes use end-of-day drawdown (EOD) during the challenge.
You don't pay the funded account activation fee straight after passing a challenge. It's deducted from your first payout.
2) Gauntlet Mini (GAU)
Gauntlet Mini is Earn2Trade's standard challenge format.
It is available in 50K, 100K, 150K and 200K account sizes.
Its rules and costs are similar to those of other prop firms:
- Profit target: 6% (5.5% for the 200K)
- Drawdown: end of day
- No minimum trading days
- A 30% consistency rule during the challenge, removed once funded
The ten-day minimum trading requirement was removed in July 2026.
3) Trader Career Path (TCP)
TCP follows the same basic model as Gauntlet Mini, but your funded account can grow as you reach your targets.
So you can scale your account as your performance improves.
Starting account sizes are 25K, 50K and 100K, with scaling up to 400K:
- The 25K can grow to 200K
- The 50K can grow to 400K
- The 100K can grow to 400K
The TCP 25K has a 7% profit target, slightly higher than the other accounts.
4) How scaling works
When you pass a TCP challenge, Earn2Trade offers two options:
- Move to a LiveSim account: an environment identical to the challenge, but without the consistency rule
- Move straight to a live account: real capital, but with trailing drawdown
With a live account, you pay $140 per month per exchange to access live trading.
Scaling starts with your first withdrawal. Your account automatically moves up to the next level and becomes a live account with trailing drawdown.
For example, if you start with a TCP 25K and make your first withdrawal of around $1,750, the firm keeps 20%, leaving you $1,400 net. Your account size immediately doubles to 50K.
Even if you initially chose LiveSim, the account then becomes a live account with trailing drawdown and monthly fees.

5) Advantages
- Lower targets on larger accounts: 5.5% for the 200K
- More drawdown room: 3.5% on the 100K, versus 3% at many competitors
- Activation fees deducted from the first withdrawal
- The option to move to a live account after passing the challenge
- Gradual scaling that rewards performance
- Traders who reach the profit target while following the rules can be funded immediately
At many competitors, funded accounts are closed after the first payout.
At Earn2Trade, you keep progressing with your TCP account. It's a more serious approach and a better fit for traders who perform consistently over time.
6) Disadvantages
- Regular prices tend to be above average outside promotions
- Trailing drawdown on scaled and live accounts does not suit every trading style
- The profit split depends on the size of each withdrawal. It is only 50/50 below a threshold, rising to 80/20 once that threshold is reached. The threshold varies by account size. This is less generous than firms such as Apex Trader Funding or Bulenox, which offer 90/10 or even 100/0.
7) My account recommendation
The TCP 100K clearly stands out.
A reset costs roughly the same as an account at a competing firm, around $100, but the conditions are more favourable.
You get more drawdown room and more achievable targets. Most importantly, you don't pay the activation fee until your first withdrawal.
If you have a 100K account, there's a real financial reason to reset it rather than buy a new account elsewhere.
When your account rules allow it, you're better off making withdrawals large enough to qualify for the 80/20 split.
For traders looking for a serious prop firm, Earn2Trade is a good option.
