Founded in 2021, Bulenox is one of the leading names among futures prop firms.
For several years, it stood out for straightforward challenges, frequent promotions and fairly stable rules.
But in August 2026, Bulenox changed a large part of its offering with two new account types: Momentum and Fast Track.
1) Bulenox's new accounts and challenges in 2026
Bulenox now offers three account types:
- Legacy Qualification
- Momentum Qualification
- Fast Track
Legacy accounts are Bulenox's original challenges. You take an evaluation and, if you pass, pay an activation fee to access the funded account.
Momentum accounts follow the same principle but have no activation fee. Once you pass, you move straight to the funded account without a second payment.
Fast Track is Bulenox's instant funding offering. You go straight to a simulated funded account without passing a challenge. The price is higher, and there is no reset if you lose the account.
Momentum and Fast Track are available in 25K, 50K, 100K and 150K sizes.
Bulenox has also changed its challenge duration. Legacy and Momentum accounts now require a one-off payment and remain valid for 30 calendar days. There is no longer a monthly subscription that renews until you pass.
The three account types also differ in their risk rules.
Momentum 25K and 50K accounts have a smaller drawdown allowance than their Legacy equivalents. The 100K and 150K versions have a larger allowance. Some daily loss limits on EOD accounts have also increased.
The differences therefore depend on the account size and drawdown type you choose.
Accounts remain available with two drawdown types:
- Trailing
- End of day (EOD)

Option 1, "No Scaling Account", uses trailing drawdown. Option 2, "EOD Account", uses end-of-day drawdown.
The drawdown allowance, maximum daily loss and contract limits can vary by account type and size.
The available trading platforms are Rithmic and NinjaTrader.
2) Advantages
Low prices
Bulenox is among the cheapest Futures prop firms, especially during promotions, alongside Apex Trader Funding.
However, the advertised price does not always reflect the final cost.
Legacy accounts require an activation fee after you pass the challenge. Momentum accounts do not.
To work out the actual cost of a funded account, compare both the challenge price and any activation fee.
Straightforward payouts
When I look at a prop firm, I mainly focus on its payout rules and how much of the profit you get to keep.
At Bulenox, you keep 100% of the first $10,000 in cumulative eligible profits across your profile. Above that threshold, the split becomes 90% for the trader and 10% for Bulenox.
If you withdraw $2,000 before reaching that threshold, you receive the full $2,000.
That is not the case at every prop firm. At FundedNext Futures, for example, the profit split applies from the first dollar withdrawn.
The rules for requesting a payout depend on your account type. With Momentum and Fast Track, for example, requests can be processed the same day if they meet Bulenox's conditions.
Trading several accounts
Bulenox lets you trade several funded accounts at the same time.
You could, for example, spread your capital across several smaller accounts instead of concentrating it in one.
The limit is now five funded accounts in total, down from eleven. This limit applies across Legacy, Momentum and Fast Track accounts combined.
It remains useful for gradually increasing your capital, although the lower limit makes Bulenox less attractive to traders who want to run many accounts.

3) Disadvantages
Activation fees on Legacy accounts
Legacy accounts still require an activation fee after you pass the challenge.
This is particularly costly on larger accounts, where activation can make up a substantial share of the total cost.
Momentum avoids this issue because funded account activation is free.
Less drawdown room on some Momentum accounts
Momentum 25K and 50K accounts have a smaller drawdown allowance than their Legacy equivalents.
That gives you less room to reach the profit target before failing the challenge.
The opposite is true for Momentum 100K and 150K accounts, which have a larger drawdown allowance than Legacy.
So check the drawdown allowance for the size you want before choosing Momentum just because there's no activation fee.
Fast Track costs more
Fast Track gives you direct access to a funded account without a challenge, but the entry price is substantially higher.
You still need to reach a profit target and comply with a consistency rule before making a withdrawal.
So skipping the challenge doesn't remove the main conditions you need to meet for a payout.
4) My recommendation
I recommend Bulenox for its straightforward challenges, prices that are often very low during promotions, and attractive payout conditions.
If I had to choose an account, I'd go for the 100K Momentum EOD. It has no activation fee, a $4,000 drawdown allowance and a $2,500 maximum daily loss.
I'm less keen on the Momentum 25K and 50K accounts because their drawdown allowance is smaller than that of the equivalent Legacy accounts.
Fast Track wouldn't be my first choice. As I explain in my article on prop firms without a challenge, removing the evaluation doesn't necessarily make an account a better choice.
Here, the price is much higher, and you still need to reach a profit target while following a consistency rule before you can withdraw.
